The Systems Champion Program: From Chaos to Control

Program Overview

The Systems Champion program is designed to empower business owners, operations managers, systems champions, and business leaders with a comprehensive structure to build, document, and implement systems within their business. Utilizing participants’ current businesses as case studies, this program provides practical tools and knowledge to enhance operational efficiency and control. Successful completion of the program not only equips participants with a certificate but also makes them eligible for the Canada Alberta Job Grant (CAJG).

 

Total Contact Hours: 30 hours

Target Audience: Business Owners, Leaders, Managers, Operations, Systems Champions

Cost: $4,500 (CAD) – Contact us for preferred pricing for multiple delegates from the same business.

Duration: 10 weeks

Funding Availability: *Canada Alberta Job Grant – 2/3 reimbursable up to 100%

 

Program Options

Note: Each module is designed to be 3 hours in length, and the program is designed in a way that the participants can leverage the learning to apply in their businesses in the following week. The commitment for the program would be approximately 5 hours per week throughout the duration of the program.

Prerequisites

  • Basic Business Knowledge: Understanding of management, operations, finance, marketing, and HR concepts.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of professional experience in a leadership setting.
  • Educational Background: Beneficial but not necessary; equivalent practical experience considered.
  • Role and Responsibility: Current leadership role with decision-making authority.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using computers and digital business tools.
  • Commitment: Willingness to participate actively and drive change.
  • English Proficiency: Essential for course comprehension and participation.

By participating in the Systems Champion program, you’ll gain the skills to transform the chaos into control, ensuring your business operates with optimized efficiency and effectiveness.

Eligibility Criteria for the Canada-Alberta Job Grant (CAJG)

  • Employer Eligibility: Private sector, non-profits, First Nations, and Métis Settlements in Alberta. Not eligible: Government bodies, publicly funded institutions.
  • Trainee Eligibility: Current employees or new hires who are Alberta residents. Not eligible: Business owners, board members, immediate family members.
  • Training Program Eligibility: Must be at least 21 hours, provided by an eligible third-party trainer.
  • Financial Support: Two-thirds reimbursement of direct training costs, up to $10,000 per trainee per fiscal year. Employers contribute the remaining one-third.
  • Application Process: Pre-approval required before training starts. Applications submitted online.

*Note: The Canada-Alberta Job Grant is closed for applications until March 31, 2025. This closure is due to the federal government’s decision to cut funding delivered under the Canada-Alberta Labour Market Transfer Agreement.
